Whole Brain Living is Percolating in the World!

At the beginning of every new year, I pick a word or phrase that I use to focus my hopes, dreams, and possibilities on for the next 365 days. In 2020, my key phrase was “What’s the Point?” as I focused on writing Whole Brain Living.
In 2021, I participated in over 150 podcasts and planted literally millions of seeds about Whole Brain Living all around the world. My chosen phrase during that time was “Be Generous of Spirit.”
Now, as I embark upon 2022, my phrase is “Follow Your Spirit Without Hesitation.” As a part of this next phase of Whole Brain Living, I am inviting you to join me on this amazing journey in your own unique way.
Since Whole Brain Living came out, I have heard from dozens of not-for-profit organizations that are committed to integrating Whole Brain Living into their networks and efforts. Witnessing the diversity of interest in “Whole Brain Living” as a life-changing concept (not just as a book) has been a joyful and eye-opening experience. It is now helping people across all walks of life calm their anxiety and heal their lives. Be they children, women with cancer, relationship specialists, medical professionals, or families struggling with anxiety over the pandemic—a brain is a brain is a brain, and Whole Brain Living is a useful and effective tool.
Whole Brain Living is now following Yoga into prisons and into the Alcoholics Anonymous “Twelve Steps” rehabilitation programming. We are educating caregivers and therapists, as well as those who are ill, about the healing power of their Four Characters and the BRAIN Huddle—whether their problem is with addiction, violence, or something else.
In Chicago, we are running a research project in the school system of the Archdiocese, where we are training the leadership, teachers, staff, and parents about Whole Brain Living and the power of the BRAIN Huddle. It truly does take a village to rear a child, so we are training every participant in the village to help bring sanity back to our school systems. We are collecting data on this program and expect to show Whole Brain Living as an evidence-based program by the middle of the summer.
In addition, I am working on children’s books to bring Whole Brain Living to our kids K-12. Kids love learning about their Four Characters and the BRAIN Huddle because it gives them both a roadmap to understanding how their brain works and a terrific tool to help them live a more peaceful life. Kids love knowing they really do have the power to choose who and how they want to be.
It has been beautiful watching kids realize they have much more power over what is going on inside of their heads than they thought. Imagine the world we will have when more people consciously choose to tap into this power. This is where you come in. We do have the power to heal the world one human brain at a time.
Let me know how I can support you. How have you been using this material? Who have you shared it with and how has it shifted your life? How’s your anxiety level been these days? I want to know. I need to know so we can spread this material far and wide. I am inviting you to reach out to me through drjilltaylor.com, so I can work with you to bring this material to your network, your school, your not-for-profit, your niche in the world.
A healthy brain is made up of a collection of healthy cells that are in communication with one another. A healthy humanity is made up of a collection of healthy people (with healthy brains) in connection with one another. Let’s be healthy together by focusing on our shared, universal healing—together as whole brained people. Whole Brain Living can be a sanity-saver if you let it.
Huge hugs to you,
Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor
